Shoulder to shoulder and shoulder to wheel,
As our brothers and sisters smolder, we make this appeal.
Our Lord, in Your Presence we humbly do kneel.
O Maker of humanity, make humanity feel,
Their need to be humane, and feel others’ pain
Make mankind kind and humanity humane
That is the way our salvation we attain
The oppressed, we know, have a fast track to Paradise.
It is we who have the need to be worthwhile and wise.
